07/31/00 We got a call from Diane in New Mexico today and she has decided to transfer the deposit she gave us from Pharaoh to Eliazar. Diane is so excited she is planning on being here next Wednesday to pick him up. What a wonderfully talented gelding she is getting and what a loving home he is going to have. Hopefully Diane will keep us updated on his progress. Congratulations Diane!! 07/25/00 What a surprise we woke up to this morning! One of our hens had hatched out 4 cute Araconda chicks. This is no small task with the wildlife around here unless they are in the hen house--which never happens. Our kids are terribly excited and they will probably all have names soon. 07/24/00 Congratulations to Rick from Idaho!! We received a deposit check today from him for Malachi. His wife, Teresa, has a deposit on Seraphina's 2000 colt, Quartus, and he liked him so well he had to have one of his own. What fun this couple is going to have raising these 2 beautiful boys. 07/23/00 We moved Isaac, Hezekiah and Josiah to a different pasture today. This also gave us a wonderful opportunity to photograph them and the new pictures will be up on the site soon. We will let you know when they are up and where. We also wormed all three and got to play with them quite a bit. 07/18/00 We weaned Kidron Friday and so far so good. We actually heard very little from him as well as his mom, Aralina. What a pair of troopers. The farrier was also here on Friday and the last of the herd is done for a couple of weeks. Wow what a job! 07/06/00 Dr. Eric was out this morning and we got our last 2 girls, Aszmira and Darley, preg checked and they were both positive. We are excited about Darley as she is in foal to the German approved stallion, Yk who is based in California. Our sons horse, Sassy, was also preg checked for the second time at 85 days. All was well there too. We also have some good news for those of you out there who might be interested in our *El Paso mare Seraphina. We did not put her back in foal for the 2001 season so we are offering her at $3,500 instead of the previously listed $4,500. This is a great opportunity to have a mare with a phenomenal pedigree who produces wonderful foals for a reasonable price.
