Adam Aralina Aszmira Chiefs Baskette Dal Domineekh Hezekiah Isaac

09/21/00 We got back from the German keurring a couple of days ago. It went well and they were very pleased with the stallion Yk. He really has a wonderful way of going not to mention is really a sweet boy. This was a smaller keurring than that of the Dutch and somewhat more informal. They really wanted to see the best of the horses and all of the ones that were judged were seen at liberty as well as in hand. That was a wonderful site! I took lots of pictures and hope to have at least some of them up in the next week. Everyone looked fine when we returned and it seems as though some of the foals have even grown a little in our absence especially Kidron. What a neat bunch we have. We will keep you all posted on the progress with the pictures. 09/14/00 Our farrier was out yesterday and took care of quite a few of our mares as well as Jerusalem and Jonah. Jerusalem is just an overgrown black lab and wanted scratched the whole time he was being worked on. What a pest! The new photos of Hezekiah have been up for about a week now so check them out. In doing the video we discovered that he has 3 pretty good gaits. Neat! We are headed out to California to a German Friesian keurring over the weekend and will take plenty of pictures so hopefully we will have more to add to our gallery soon. I also finally got some of the videos out today so for many of you they are on the way. Unfortunately the video I had of my stallion has disappeared so it is not included. Sorry. If you have requested one and don't receive it please let me know and we will get that taken care of. 09/12/00 Dr. Eric was out today and we got Quartus gelded. All went well and he was up and around in no time. It is so much easier at this young age. His mom, Seraphina, was a good girl for us and just stood over us and supervised. We also got a few mares re-preg checked. All went well there too. We had Sassy, Fancy, Aszmira and Aralina done and all were still in foal. Aszmira is just a few weeks along so we will be checking her again in about a month or so just to be sure. 09/09/00 Things have been pretty quite around here this last week. We got Malachi weaned about a week ago which went very well. Actually he and his mom, Aszmira, both were very quite and they seemed to think it was time too. It has been colder here at night and I noticed that Seraphina is getting fuzzy again already. It won't be long and our pastures will be filled with teddy bears.
