We confirmed *EH Ghorees, aka Darley, in foal today. This is a big black bay straight Egyptian mare who is often mistaken for a TB. Darley has had 2 very nice foals for us, Faith and Pharaoh and we will be offering her for sale later in the year.

Baskette had such a nice filly for us this year that we have decided to breed her back. Her foal is just like mom, very kind and level headed. I also got to take a few photos today of some of the horses. Uzziel was not the most cooperative since he would rather eat the camera than pose for it. At any rate we tried. Troy also helped me to get some more recent ones of Levi. I was shocked! This is not the delicate little flower that his mother gave birth to last year. Levi is huge. He shows no sign of his Arabian heritage and looks like a European warmblood. He is heavy boned and very friendly. Pharaoh is in with him and I had not realized that he had such a nice neck. It is fairly long and very clean. Both are going through a growing spurt and are not the prettiest things right now but there is definitely light on the horizon.

It looks like Aszmira is going to have a new home. She is going all the way to Ontario Canada to be with Lynda and Debbie. They are a wonderful family and are anxious to meet her. Aszmira is also in foal to Jerusalem so it will be exciting to see what she gives them in the spring. Congratulations Lynda and Debbie this is one really sweet girl!

We moved Pharaoh, Levi and Naomi onto another pasture this weekend. This one is clear up to their bellies so they are happy campers. We also got some of the horses wormed and got lots of attention from the foals. Uzziel is a regular pest! You can not do anything in his pasture without him supervising. He is shedding of to a beautiful bay. At this point it is just his face that is shedding so it is a little funny looking. We will get more photos of him once he is done.

Things have been pretty busy around here lately. We now have a positive preg check on Seraphina and have bred Dal, Darley and Jasman all in the last few days. Pharaoh is also now officially a gelding. He acts like nothing ever happened. These young guys sure bounce back quickly. We also have updates on a few horses. Kidron's new mom, Erica, wrote to us today and he is doing well and she is thrilled with his progress. We also heard from Jonah's new home. They are so excited about his progress and how much Sandy has learned from him. Sandy is even going to take him to their first dressage show next week. Good luck Sandy!

We had two positive preg checks this week. Our beautiful *Ibn El Mareekh mare, Domineekh and our Ansata bred mare, Bint Bint Feris. These girls have been consistently excellent producers for us and we are always excited to see what they will give us the next year.
