8/29/2001 We had several visitors here Monday to look at the horses. It is always a joy to share them with other people and have the opportunity to "talk horse". Our family is headed to Denver for the weekend so we will be stopping in to check on Dawn and Adam on the way. It will give us a chance to get some new video and pictures of him for all of you to see. It will also be fun to see how Adam has progressed in training and development. I am getting some film of Uzziel developed so hopefully we will have some new photos of him up on our site shortly as well. He has become a pocket puppy and a very large one at that! 8/14/2001 We had a busy day Sunday and got most of the babies wormed including Uzziel. We also took some new photos of him and hope to get them up this week. We moved Levi, Pharaoh and Naomi to another pasture as well as getting them wormed. These guys are so easy to work with, its wonderful. They love the lush pastures and it is fun to see them explore a new place. 8/9/2001 Dawn e-mailed us from the John Lyon's school yesterday and gave us an update on Adam's progress. She is thrilled with him! They took all of the younger horses on a trail ride and Adam was the stable one. She said that he was the one the others leaned on for support and he even led them over a bridge. Dawn has now taken him swimming and being half Friesian she had a hard time getting him out of the water he enjoyed it so much. She has also made comment about how responsive he is, especially for being so green. What a wonderful boy he is going to be for someone. |
