11/30/2001 We have decided to reduce our herd and thus reduce our stress. Therefore for the first time we will be offering some of our Friesian cross fillies. There are 5 total and they are weanlings and yearlings priced form $2,500-4,500. We have 3 grays, a bay and a dark bay. These girls are all healthy and sound. If you have any questions please let us know. 11/27/2001 We hope you all had a Happy Thanksgiving. It was pretty quiet here and we got to spend some time with the horses. We woke up to snow on the ground this morning and of course it is already turning to mud. Jerusalem is getting lonesome again now that Isaac is gone so we will have to have Adam's shoes removed so he can go in with him. Both of these boys are alone right now and it will make them both so much happier. 11/19/2001 Isaac left out of here for Golden yesterday. I could not have asked for him to have a better home. Meagan is thrilled and they are a perfect match. Isaac had not been in a 2 horse trailer before and it took us a little time and patience but he was a real trooper and stayed calm. What a wonderful mind. Congratulations Meagan! 11/14/2001 We had a busy weekend and got some major fence repairs done. The wood fences are terrible and require some maintenance. I wont build them again and some day when they fall down we will replace them with my wonderful 1 1/2 inch electric web mixed with Centaur for our stud pen. That would be so nice but as most things go it wont happen for quite some time. Until then we repair! 11/9/2001 Isaac is officially sold now and will be headed for the Denver area in the next week or so. This should be a wonderful match as he will get loads of attention. We were cleaning on the weanlings pen the other day and were lucky to get out in one piece. They were going to eat us alive trying to get attention! What a fun bunch. |
