12/30/2001 Faith went to her new home Christmas eve. I am sure Siobhan will get much more enjoyment from her than I would so, good bye sweet girl. Faith was a full sister to Pharaoh and they looked and moved very much the same except she was a year older and black. Congratulations Siobhan! We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and have a very Happy New Year. 12/18/2001 Pete was out this morning and we got quite a few of the mares trimmed as well as Jerusalem. It is so nice to have horses with good feet and nice thick hoof walls. We heard from LaRissa out in New York yesterday. She got a beautiful mare named Marsamba from us about 2 years ago and they are doing very well and riding regularly. What a neat pair these two made. Thanks for the update LaRissa! 12/16/2001 The farrier was by Friday and we got Faith trimmed up for her trip to her new home. She is a wonderful girl and I will truly miss this one. Adam also got his shoes pulled and his feet trimmed. You could not ask for a better boy as he stood absolutely still for us. I even got on him afterward with just a halter and lead rope. What a jewel he will be for someone. 12/10/2001 We got all of the herd wormed yesterday except for this years babies. Levi and Adam are such good boys that we did not even have to halter them. The mares are really starting to look pregnant and many of them did not need halters either. We are very fortunate to have such a wonderful bunch. 12/8/2001 We sold a Friesian filly to a neat lady from New York 3 years ago. The filly was Vsara and she is in our gallery. Donna is her mom and she was kind enough to send us an update and photos of Vsara the other day. What a beautiful girl she is growing into. Donna has also started riding her and says she is the most willing and kindest of creatures. We hope you continue to enjoy your girl Donna and thanks for the update. 12/5/2001 Bathsheba is now up on our sales page. At this point there are only 2 photos of her but I may scan one more. She is a pretty little girl and an excellent buy. We also have added another one of our mares to the gallery. Her name is Sassy. She is quite the correct girl and the mother of one of the fillies we have offered for sale, Vashti. Sassy is our kids horse and has had a long career in the show ring carrying them. 12/2/2001 Isaac's new family came back out yesterday from Golden and put a deposit on Faith. I will surely miss this girl as she was one of my favorites. She is going to an excellent home and they will enjoy her thoroughly as she will be a teenage girls dream horse. Faith has loads of potential as a dressage horse and they hope to eventually show her. Congratulations Siobhan! |
