2/28/2002 We will start foaling season again in just a few weeks so if you have been considering one of our other youngsters it would be a good time to contact me as once we start foaling the prices on the older stock will go up. We will add the foals as they are born and keep you updated here as to who had what and when. It is always a very exciting time of the year. 2/25/2002 We got to spend quite a bit of time with all of the youngsters this weekend. They loved being curried and scratched. Vashti is really getting a thick mane on her and is such a pretty girl. Rogue loves the attention and Rachael is also a real sweetie. A lot of the horses are beginning to shed out by the handfuls now so it wont be to long before they will start to look like horses instead of teddy bears. 2/16/2002 The sale barn has a couple of new pictures. Vashti and Rogue now have baby photos up for you to see. Rogue looks much like a clear bay in them but this sweet girl has since shed off to be a wonderful deep red mahogany bay with no hint of orange in her coat at all. Hopefully we will get one of Vashti before long that shows her very refined and dished head as it is the prettiest we have had thus far in a foal of this cross. These two are both nice fillies and will be a joy for someone to own. 2/4/2002 JeanAnn sent us an e-mail yesterday to let us know that Adam has arrived safe and sound at his new home in Snohomish, Washington. She was even so kind as to send a couple of photos of him in his new surroundings. Adam has a wonderful home and will truly be appreciated there. Congratulations JeanAnn and we hope you have fun with him! 2/3/2002 The farrier was out the other day and trimmed all of the coming 2 year olds. Pharaoh is really starting to put on some bone and Levi is getting to be a big boy all the way around. Rachael loves the attention and did her best to be a good girl. Solome is beautiful but she will need to be with someone who knows something as she is very smart and will put one over on you if you are not careful. We also got Uzziel trimmed on the front end as we were being eaten in the foal pen and decided that was enough. He is a neat boy. All went well considering it was so cold. |
