4/30/2002 Vashti is really becoming a beautiful girl. Her mane is extremely thick and she looks like a wild woman right now with it. All of the young stock are starting to put on some growth again and it seems like overnight they have all put on at least an inch in height. Uzziel is the only one who has almost completely shed out and he is getting very tall. What a nice bunch of youngsters. 4/23/2002 Wielka had a beautiful big filly about 8:30 Saturday night. She is tall and big boned and at this time is blood bay. She may shed off to gray but at this point we cant tell for sure yet. We will be offering this lovely mare for sale again now that she has foaled. She will be offered as a package with her new filly for $4,000 or as a 3 in one at $5,000. 4/17/2002 Late Sunday night Domineekh foaled. She had a very nice solid bay filly who is already quite friendly. Solome also left this morning for her new home in Evergreen, Colorado. She was purchased by a man named Angel who plans on training her for classical dressage. Congratulations Angel! 4/15/2002 Yesterday was very busy as we got quite a few of the horses moved and out on pastures. Levi and Pharaoh are now in there own pasture and we moved Rogue, Vashti and Bathsheba out on to one together too. Things are pretty green now so they should really enjoy the nice fresh grass and bigger places to run. We got all of them wormed as well and brushed most of them out. Some are still pretty fuzzy and others are almost completely slick. Needless to say you still get covered in hair from playing with them. It was a good day with the horses. 4/9/2002 Fancy had her foal very early Sunday morning. It is a nice solid bay colt with big joints and pretty ears. He is already personable and unusually talkative. This guy is going to be a real looker and fun too. 4/5/2002 Yesterday was very special as we had our first foal of the season. It is a beautiful solid gray filly out of Bint Bint Fehris. It was so special because Bint Bint is the horse that our 6 year old son has claimed as his own and she was a good girl and had it about 5 in the afternoon so the whole family was present to attend the birth. She was such a sweet girl and tolerated us, kids and all, being there. Tristan was so excited and was actually the one to ask if it was a girl or boy. We took pictures and will hopefully have them up some time next week. Fancy is also getting very close as is Wielka and Domineekh so we should not have to wait long for more to arrive. |
