4/30/2003 Almost all of the horses are on summer pastures now and things are really getting green. Most of the horses are pretty slicked off now and the mares are in full swing for breeding as well. We have bred Domineekh and Dal in the last week and hopefully will catch Bint Bint this weekend. It would be nice to have them all foal pretty close as it keeps the sleepless nights on foal watch to a minimum. posted by Scott at 5:15 PM 4/10/2003 We bred Domineekh today. She may be transitional so we will see if she took and if not we will just try next cycle. Our irrigation water is now on so the real work will begin. Most of our neighbors were not ready for it yet and we were no exception. Oh well it is wonderful to see and we will know later in the season how well it holds out.
