5/28/2003 The last week has been very busy here. On Thursday EH Ghorees left for her new home in Michigan. She has arrived safe and sound and her new owner, Penny, is thrilled with her. She has a straight Egyptian stallion she will be breeding her too when she comes in again. Yesterday Tommy took Beth, Christi, Levi and Pharaoh out on a cattle drive. What an experience for them. It was only his 3rd time on Levi and 4th on Pharaoh. They did great and Tommy has reported that Pharaoh has absolutely huge gaits and is extremely smooth not to mention calm. Levi got the long half of the day and is now going well. He is a lot of fun and beautiful under saddle. 5/19/2003 The vet was out on Friday and got all of the horses updated on their 4-way and West Nile. We also wormed them all so they are all pretty set for a while except to get the farrier out soon. Tommy started Pharaoh today and told me he is a dream. Very calm and easy to work with. He rode him in one of the smaller pens for a while without any fussing. He just stood with Tommy on his back while we talked like an old broke horse. This one is going to be a real sweetie. |
